Job summary

Guilford Technical Community College (GTCC) is seeking an experienced facilities project leader to oversee capital construction, renovation, and maintenance programs. The role requires coordinating with senior leadership, managing architectural/engineering contracts, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery across multiple campuses in Jamestown and surrounding sites.

• Three years of relevant experience in construction, facilities, or capital projects.
• Experience with NCCCS/UNC System or NC State agencies is favorable.
• Progress toward licensure (FE/EIT/AXP/ARE) is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, document, and track programmatic, functional, and technical requirements for facilities construction.
• Manage professional agreements and contracts for architectural and engineering services.
• Oversee contract administration from design through close-out on capital projects.
• Coordinate with College leadership and SCO/NCCCS leadership.
• Develop scopes of work, solicit bids, and manage construction activities for small projects.
