Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate in English at a level to assure safe and satisfactory duties.
• Experience performing the duties described in this job.
• Requires a valid state driver's license to operate a 15 passenger vehicle OR CDL with no restrictions to operate a 24 passenger vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor grounds maintenance including keeping entrances/exits clear of debris and sidewalks free of ice.
• Performs maintenance and minor repairs of buildings, playground equipment, and related items using carpentry/painting skills.
• Conducts bus evacuation drills monthly and documents them in writing.
• Notifies supervisor of hazards, malfunctioning equipment, damaged materials, or other safety concerns.
• Drives assigned large passenger vehicles to transport children/youth on field trips or to and from school.
