Job summary

Cinemark is seeking a Supervisor, Building Engineer to manage building systems and projects across multiple sites in Plano, TX. You will oversee electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire/life safety, elevators, and janitorial services, coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires strong budgeting, contract management, and regulatory knowledge, with on-site responsibilities Monday–Friday. This position offers robust benefits and growth opportunities within Cinemark.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Associates/trade school diploma in a related field as per ad.
• 5-10 years experience in facility management is expected.
• LEED and ENERGY STAR knowledge is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and codes is required.
• Experience using contractors with liability and licensing considerations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building systems including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire/life safety, elevators, janitorial.
• Prepare annual budgets for building operations and capital expenditures.
• Obtain bids, negotiate pricing and select contractors for multiple projects.
• Monitor/track project performance to specifications and timelines.
• Submit, update, and close out work orders in ServiceChannel.
• Coordinate with facilities leadership to mitigate risks and ensure safety.
• Maintain building cleanliness and manage custodial staff.
