Job summary

The Navy SEAL Museum San Diego is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to keep the Showcase safe, well‑maintained, and fully operational. You will own day‑to‑day facilities readiness, execute preventive maintenance, and serve as the on‑site liaison for contracted AV and exhibit‑technology teams.

This hands‑on role requires 3–5+ years in facility maintenance, a high school diploma, and the ability to coordinate external service providers with calm, solutions‑oriented problem solving.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in facility maintenance, building operations, or similar technical environment.
• Basic understanding of primary building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Experience coordinating external service providers and tracking maintenance tickets.

Responsibilities

• Daily readiness of all spaces, exhibits, and infrastructure to ensure the museum is pristine and functional.
• Execute preventive maintenance for building systems and basic repairs as needed.
• Act as on-site liaison for janitorial, HVAC, property management, and AV vendors; coordinate access and inspect work.
• Provide first‑level troubleshooting for AV/immersive exhibits before escalating to specialists.
• Support safety and compliance, emergency preparedness, and keep routes clear.
