Job summary

Valor Oil's Hop Shops division is seeking a Facilities Associate in Carrollton, KY to keep the Hop Shop and grounds tidy and operational. Pay is $15.00 hourly with multiple shifts; start date is immediate.

Responsibilities include exterior grounds maintenance, pump care, interior sanitation, and basic inventory tasks. Requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, stock shelves, tolerate gasoline fumes, sweep/mop, and work in a cold cooler (36°F) for up to 30 minutes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds per shift.
• Stock shelves, coolers and displays and merchandise pulled forward.
• Able to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, and handle trash containers.
• Enter cooler at 36°F for up to 30 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Exterior grounds maintenance: clean parking lots, pump pads, sidewalks; weeding and mulching.
• Safety and environmental compliance: address spills with absorbents and maintain exterior equipment sanitation.
• Fuel station care: clean pumps and nozzles with degreasers; replenish windshield washer fluid and towels.
• Interior sanitation: deep clean restrooms, sanitize cooler doors/windows, keep back room organized.
• Inventory and operations: bag ice, replenish drinks, manage waste, provide general housekeeping support.

Hop Shops, a division of Valor Oil, is looking for a Facilities Associate to ensure that the Hop Shop and grounds stay tidy and operational.

Pay: $15.00 hourly

Schedule: Multiple shifts available

Location: Carrollton, KY

Start date: Immediate

Responsibilities:

Exterior Grounds Maintenance: Maintain a clean and professional curb appeal by cleaning parking lots, pressure washing pump pads and sidewalks, and performing landscaping tasks like weeding and mulching.

Safety & Environmental Compliance: Ensure a safe environment for customers by promptly identifying and treating fuel or oil spills with absorbent materials and maintaining high sanitation standards for all exterior equipment.

Fuel Station & Pump Care: Execute specialized cleaning of fuel pumps and nozzles using degreasers, while managing the consistent replenishment of customer amenities like windshield washer fluid and paper towels.

Interior Facility Sanitation: Uphold strict cleanliness standards for the store interior, including deep cleaning restrooms, sanitizing cooler doors and windows, and keeping the back room organized for efficient operations.

Inventory & General Operations: Support daily store needs by bagging ice, maintaining fountain drink supplies, managing waste removal, and providing general administrative or housekeeping support as needed.

Requirements

• The ability to lift 50 pounds, carrying cases of milk, soft drinks, beer, etc, at least once per shift.
• The ability to stock shelves, coolers and displays and merchandise pulled forward at all times.
• The ability to tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• The ability to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves, to lift and carry out trash containers and place them in an outside bin.
• The ability to enter and work in a cooler at a temperature of 36 degrees for up to 30 minutes at a time.
