Florida Polytechnic University is seeking a Facilities Assistant Project Manager to support planning, budgeting, and coordination of capital and non-capital construction projects across the campus.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, the Facilities Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of capital and non-capital construction projects across the University. This position plays a key role in managing the design and construction of new, renovated, and existing facilities by coordinating internal stakeholders, external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within approved budgets.
The Facilities Assistant Project Manager assists with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and compliance, and serves as a liaison among user groups, Facilities & Safety Services, and construction partners. This role requires strong organizational skills, independent judgment, and effective communication to support multiple concurrent projects, ensure code compliance, and contribute to the successful advancement of campus development initiatives.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: This is an exempt position. This position is essential. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; however, occasional overtime, on-call work, or emergency work on campus (including weekends and evenings) may be required.
TARGET HIRING SALARY: $59,500-64,000, commensurate with experience.
