University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business is seeking a Facilities Assistant I to support daily operations, cleaning, and basic maintenance in on-site facilities in Ann Arbor.
The role includes logistical help for classrooms and events and requires flexibility to work evenings or weekends. The position reports to the Building Manager and ensures safe, clean spaces, with shift options and a premium for evening hours.

The work schedule will include weekdays and weekends and may follow either an evening or daytime shift. The Facilities Assistant I supports the daily operations and maintenance of the Ross School of Business facilities. Responsibilities include general cleaning, basic maintenance tasks, and providing logistical support for classrooms and events. You will also help address facilities-related inquiries and respond to safety, security, and emergency situations. You will report directly to the Building Manager.

The posting range for this position is $38,100 to $44,800. This posting range reflects multiple factors involved in determining compensation, such as skills, experience, training, certifications, and other organizational needs. At Ross, it is not common for new hires to be offered a salary at the upper end of the range. Compensation decisions are based on the details of each situation.
