Job summary

Align Credit Union seeks a Facilities & Maintenance Specialist to keep our buildings, mail systems and equipment in excellent condition. You will perform basic upkeep, move furniture, minor repairs, touch up painting and cleaning, and visit each branch weekly to deliver supplies using the company vehicle.

Responsibilities include handling interoffice mail, supporting HVAC and building systems, updating vendor contacts, and acting as a backup to AVP Facilities & Security.

Qualifications

• HVAC system maintenance knowledge.
• Basic electrical repair skills.
• Basic plumbing knowledge.
• Understanding of OSHA safety standards.
• Basic technical skills with security systems and computers.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of facilities (moving furniture, minor repairs, touch up painting, cleaning).
• Visit each branch weekly and deliver supplies using company vehicle.
• Sort and distribute mail, manage postage machine and interoffice mail procedures.
• Support HVAC and other building systems, ensuring proper operation and repairs as needed.
• Maintain contractor/vendor list and report issues to AVP Facilities & Security.
• Serve as backup to AVP Facilities & Security and IT for emergencies and access control.
• Carry out other facility-related duties as assigned.

To ensure the Credit Union's buildings, systems and equipment are functioning properly, and are maintained in excellent condition. To coordinate the distribution of mail and the delivery of interoffice mail and packages across the branch network, as needed.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Basic maintenance and up-keep of buildings which includes, but is not limited to, moving furniture and cabinets, minor repairs to equipment, touch up painting, and cleaning.

Visit each branch location at a minimum once a week and/or supply disbursement to all locations. Deliver supplies and equipment to branches using company provided vehicle.

Sort incoming mail from post office daily. Distribute all interoffice and USPS mail to appropriate departments/ individuals. Sort mail received from branch courier bags and distribute accordingly. Review returned mail and process accordingly, per returned mail procedures. Maintain the postage machine at Hale St.

Responsible for assisting to ensure HVAC systems and other building equipment systems are being kept in proper working order and repaired when necessary.

Keep contractor list updated with all vendors/contractor's current information.

Report all problems with facilities, vendors, or equipment to AVP Facilities & Security for action.

Acts as a backup to the AVP Facilities & Security in responding to telephone or ticketing system from staff for emergency assistance.

Acts as a backup to the AVP Facilities & Security in regard to access control and contact person for the alarm system.

Acts as a backup to the AVP Facilities & Security in regard to access control and contact person for the alarm system.

Acts as a backup to IT and Security. Performs other job-related duties required or assigned.

Prior experience with the following is a requirement for this position

• Basic technical skills with security skills and computer technology are required

An individual possessing skills in the following would be preferred.

• Communication Skills
• Ability to problem solve and think critically

Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
