Aprilaire is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Assistant for 1st shift to help keep our workplace running smoothly. You will support day-to-day facilities operations, coordinate office services, monitor supplies and equipment, and ensure a safe, well-maintained environment for employees and visitors.

The role involves cleaning of common areas, kitchen/breakroom upkeep, and assisting with office moves and events.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to handle variety of cleaning solutions.
• Ability to travel between Aprilaire locations when required.
• Dependability, trust and accountability.
• Ability to periodically work flexible hours for special events.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly, up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to stand on a 7 foot ladder.
• Willingness to use hand tools (screwdriver, drill).
• Ability to communicate via Outlook or phone between buildings.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine cleaning of common areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, interior glass cleaning, trash removal and upkeep.
• Maintain kitchen and breakroom areas, including washing dishes, loading/unloading the dishwasher, cleaning sinks and faucets, and grout cleaning as needed.
• Support general groundskeeping and assist with office moves and workspace setups.
• Partner with Administrative and HR teams to support meeting and event setup and breakdown.
• Follow and apply special sanitation and cleaning protocols as required.
