Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas daily.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors in office and warehouse.
• Empty trash and recycling, transport waste to designated areas.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and interior surfaces as needed.
• Restock restroom and break room supplies.
• Perform light maintenance and basic repairs (bulbs, HVAC filters, minor plumbing, touch-up painting).
• Identify and report larger maintenance needs to management.
• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and reorder as needed.
• Perform safety checks (fire extinguishers, exit signage, emergency lighting).
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and cooperatively with team.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $20.00 Hourly

Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-functioning facility by performing routine janitorial duties and light maintenance and repair tasks across the office and warehouse.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas on a daily schedule.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the office and warehouse.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and transport waste to designated collection areas.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and interior surfaces as needed.
• Restock restroom and break room supplies, including paper products, soap, and other consumables.
• Perform light maintenance and repairs, including replacing light bulbs and HVAC filters, minor plumbing fixes, and touch-up painting.
• Identify and report larger maintenance or repair needs to management.
• Perform snow and ice removal around doorways only, removal will be done by external services.
• Monitor cleaning and maintenance supply inventory and notify management when reordering is needed.
• Perform basic safety checks, including fire extinguishers, exit signage, and emergency lighting, and report deficiencies.
• Operate cleaning equipment and light maintenance tools safely and properly.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Follow safety standards and comply with company procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Computer Requirement

• Basic computer or smartphone skills a plus, for submitting maintenance requests or supply orders

Additional Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and light maintenance and repair tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for grounds and snow removal duties
• Must be reliable and have a good attendance record
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and safely use ladders or step stools as needed

Physical and Mental Demands

This position requires long periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting, including climbing ladders and working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions, including inclement weather for grounds and snow removal duties.
