Job summary

Blessed Sacrament Parish in Norfolk, VA is seeking a part-time facilities coordinator to support weekly operations and parish events. This role involves monitoring the building, equipment, and grounds, and coordinating with contractors for essential maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly facilities operations and parish events.
• Monitor building, equipment and grounds.
• Analyze and evaluate present and future facilities utilization.
• Maintain and update a file of independent contractors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, grounds, maintenance).
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance and building supplies.
• Perform light maintenance tasks and document outcomes.
• Communicate with Pastor and contractors as needed and provide monthly summaries to the Facility and Grounds Committee.
