Qualifications

• Experience in estimating for construction, façades or cladding.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills.
• Experience producing take-offs and cost models.
• Proficiency with Excel and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Review tender enquiries, drawings, specifications and project documents.
• Produce accurate take-offs and material calculations from architectural drawings.
• Develop detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, logistics and ancillary components.
• Liaise with clients and contractors to clarify project requirements and scope.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Manage quotation revisions as project requirements evolve.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to improve project efficiency.
• Support pre-contract meetings and project handovers.
• Maintain clear records of pricing assumptions, revisions and commercial considerations.
• Work with sales, technical and production teams throughout the tender process.
