Job summary

A reputable commercial construction contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator specializing in exterior cladding and building envelope systems. The successful candidate will develop competitive bids and assist in preconstruction efforts for various commercial projects. Key responsibilities include comprehensive quantity takeoffs, reviewing construction documents, and collaboration with project stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have over three years in estimating and a strong grasp of building envelope principles.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in exterior cladding or façade systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Proficiency in communication and coordination in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for exterior cladding.
• Review drawings and specifications to define scope and identify risks.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor quotes.
