Job summary

Round's, a Kroger family company, is seeking a maintenance plumber to service our stores in Wisconsin. The role covers plumbing repairs, drain cleaning, and water heater work across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates will have general plumbing experience in food retail or commercial facilities, be able to lift 25 lbs, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Strong communication and PC skills are required.

Qualifications

• General plumbing experience in food retail and/or commercial facilities.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and help all department members.
• Flexibility for varying schedules, nights, weekends and holidays; overtime may be required.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong PC skills and ability to learn Kroger mainframe applications.

Responsibilities

• Clean drains, repair/replace valves in toilets, and install/repair commercial water heaters.
• Complete and submit accurate time reporting and vehicle inventory by scheduled dates.
• Perform preventive maintenance in assigned stores at least twice per year.
• Ensure maintenance expenses meet annual budgetary guidelines.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired Previous Job Experience

Minimum Position Qualifications

• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for cleaning drains, valve repair and replacements in toilets, repair and install commercial water heaters, and other minimal tasksassociated with plumbing.
• Complete and submit accurate reporting of time reporting and vehicle inventory by scheduled dates via company computer programs.
• Perform preventive maintenance in assigned stores at least twice per year.
• Ensure maintenance expense (by Account Code) in assigned stores meet annual budgetary guidelines.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
