Job summary

Roundy's Supermarkets, Inc. is seeking a plumbing technician to support maintenance in our Wisconsin stores under the Kroger family of companies.

The role involves cleaning drains, repairing and installing plumbing systems, and performing preventive maintenance in multiple locations. Ideal candidates will have strong teamwork and communication skills, the ability to lift 25 lbs, and the flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to handle changing scope of assignments and projects.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays; overtime may be required.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Strong PC skills and experience with Windows XP, MS Excel, CPC Ultrasite/Controllers and MS Outlook; ability to learn Kroger mainframe applications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning drains, valve repair and replacements in toilets, repair and install commercial water heaters, and other plumbing-related tasks.
• Complete and submit accurate time and vehicle inventory reporting via company computer programs.
• Perform preventive maintenance in assigned stores at least twice per year.
• Ensure maintenance expense in assigned stores meets annual budgetary guidelines.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired Previous Job Experience
