Holman in Bartlett, IL is seeking a 1st shift Fabricator to weld, assemble, and fit components per blueprints. You will operate MIG/TIG welding processes, read weld symbols, and maintain high quality standards.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, inspecting welds, and collaborating with engineers and supervisors to meet production timelines. Benefits are offered; physical requirements include lifting up to 75 pounds and passing a safety screen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and welding program completion.
• 3–5 years welding experience in fabrication environment.
• AWS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components using MIG and TIG welding and related processes.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols to meet customer requirements.
• Measure, square, and fit weldments during production.
• Set up welding machines for various materials and thicknesses.
• Inspect welds and fabricated components to ensure quality.
• Build components from small parts to medium-sized bodies.
• Follow safety standards and keep work area clean.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet timelines.
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and report issues.
• Track materials used and hours worked; provide updates as needed.
