Job summary

Holman Enterprises in Bartlett, IL is seeking a 1st shift Fabricator to join our team. The role involves fabricating components using cutting, MIG and TIG welding, drilling, and related processes, and reading blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications.

You will set up welding equipment, inspect welds, track materials and hours, and collaborate with supervisors and engineers to meet production timelines. OSHA safety standards and a willingness to lift up to 75 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a vocational/technical welding program or equivalent hands-on experience is preferred.
• AWS certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components using cutting, MIG and TIG welding, drilling and related processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols and specifications to meet customer requirements.
• Set up and adjust welding machines for various materials and thicknesses.
• Inspect welds and finished components to ensure quality and conformance.
