Job summary

IPEX in Preston, Idaho is seeking a Fabricator-C to join our team. The successful candidate will operate and troubleshoot fabricating machines, with training provided, while prioritizing safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

We offer day, swing, and weekend shifts with a pay rate of $21.03 per hour and shift incentives. Benefits include 401K, health/dental/vision, paid vacation, and more as part of a supportive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred (training provided).
• Basic math knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Working knowledge of health & safety practices helpful.
• Ability to understand various types and sizes of pipes after training.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot fabricating machines (training provided).
• Prepare molds and machines for all lines.
• Lift and move large, heavy diameter saws.
• Identify material problems and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Accurately set process parameters.
• Remove scrap materials and maintain orderly storage.
• Perform housekeeping around machines and work areas.
• Inspect and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Support Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) efforts.
• Perform other tasks as needed
