Job summary

American Hydro, based in York, PA, is seeking a Boilermaker/Fabricator III to set up fabrication components, lay out parts from drawings, and fabricate high-quality parts per specifications. The role includes welding, grinding, and assembly of complex components using plasma/thermal cutting operations.

Second shift is 2:30pm-10:30pm. Candidates should have an accredited program or equivalent experience, with strong blueprint reading and lean continuous improvement skills.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited program or equivalent experience.
• Six years related experience and/or training in fabrication.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and using measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up fabrication components and lay out parts from engineering drawings.
• Assemble flat and formed plate components to specifications.
• Tack welds to join parts and assist in further machining.
