Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required; 3+ years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Training from college or technical school encouraged.
• Three+ (3+) years experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and reading work orders.

Responsibilities

• Interpret instructions and read work orders with accuracy.
• Read and record measurements using micrometers, calipers, and related instruments.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Inform supervisor of problems related to work piece, schedule or safety.
• Paint equipment and job parts; assemble finished machined parts for fitting and further machining.
