Roush is hiring Fabricator II (Metal) to prepare, cut, shape, and weld metal using hand tools and machinery. You will support garage and shop services, work on automotive prototypes, and collaborate with customers to meet deadlines.

Two positions are available, located in Allen Park, MI. Qualified candidates will have 4+ years fabrication and 2+ years TIG/MIG welding experience, plus proficiency with reading blueprints and operating fabricating equipment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of fabrication work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of TIG or MIG welding experience.
• Minimum 2 years of operating power brakes, shears and bench machines.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to use measuring tools and layout material to coordinates.

Mansioni

• Fabricate or modify brackets and components and weld exhaust tubes and bosses.
• Operate band saws, brakes and shears.
• Read and follow blueprints and drawings to shape metal per specifications.
• Keep shop equipment running by following instructions and performing maintenance.
• Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up.
