Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Minnesota is seeking a Fabricator to join a skilled team operating state‑of‑the‑art fabricating equipment. You will fabricate sheet metal for HVAC products and work a 4‑day, day shift schedule (Mon‑Thu, 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).

You will read blueprints, set up jobs, and operate laser, shear, punch or brake press to form parts while upholding safety and quality standards. Physical capability to lift up to 80 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Experience fabricating sheet metal parts using fabrication tools and equipment.
• Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience including use of small hand tools.
• Able to routinely lift 80 pounds.

As a Fabricator you will be part of a top‑notch team that operates state‑of‑the‑art fabricating technology. You will fabricate sheet metal for constructing HVAC products for battery manufacturing, ice arenas, hospital suites, food processing facilities and many others. 4 Day Work Week

Day Shift: Monday‑Thursday 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts for sheet metal HVAC equipment casings using blueprints.
• Set up jobs and tooling for safe and efficient operation.
• Use laser, shear, punch or brake press to fabricate parts.
• Use measuring tools accurately, including angle gauges, tape measures and Vernier calipers.
• Read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Experience fabricating sheet metal parts using fabrication tools and equipment.
• Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience including use of small hand tools.
• Able to routinely lift 80 pounds.
