Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a skilled Fabricator to join its team. You will fabricate sheet metal HVAC equipment casings and related components, read blueprints, and set up tooling for safe, efficient production.

The role supports battery manufacturing and other facilities, reflecting Modine’s broad industrial reach. The position requires lifting up to 80 pounds and hands-on experience with fabrication tools.

Qualifications

• Experience fabricating sheet metal parts using fabrication tools and equipment.
• Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience including using small hand tools.
• Able to routinely lift 80 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate parts for sheet metal HVAC equipment casings using blueprints.
• Set up jobs and tooling in a manner conducive to safe and efficient operation.
• Fabricate parts using a laser, shear, punch or brake press.
• Use measuring tools accurately; including angle gauges, tape measures and Vernier calipers.
• Read blueprints and interpret dimensions and tolerances.
