Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Jefferson City, MO is seeking a Fabricator for 1st shift (6AM–2PM) to help ensure the quality of assemblies and the accuracy of prints. You will set up and operate CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment to produce parts per print.

The role requires reading instructions, performing preventive maintenance, inputting CNC programs, inspecting parts, maintaining inventory, and collaborating with engineering to meet print tolerances.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma
• 1+ years manufacturing experience, preferably fabricating parts

Responsibilities

• Works from verbal and/or written instructions from supervisor and engineers.
• Sets up and operates various CNC fabricators, shear, spot weld and press brake equipment per print.
• Fabricates parts using various sheet metal fabricating tools and machines.
• Sets up fabrication equipment to produce parts to print. Must be able to operate all department equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
• Inputs programs in CNC controls and make adjustments as necessary.
• Responsible for inspection and overall quality of fabricated parts
• Reports inferior defects and non-conforming parts to supervisor.
• Works with engineering to produce parts to print
• Keeps accurate inventory of tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Description

This position is responsible for ensuring the overall quality of assemblies and processes across the production of chiller units, focusing on quality systems and processes at dedicated work stations.
