Qualifications

• Use gauges and gauging techniques to inspect parts.
• Consistently meet production and quality standards.
• Understand operator documentation and record data as required.
• Demonstrate good communication and teamwork skills.
• Identify routine problems and perform basic corrections.
• Use math for blueprint reading and SPC.
• Understand manufacturing processes and machine requirements for basic tasks.
• Provide written communication when needed.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Set up and operate equipment like Butt Welder, Wire Drum, Straightener, and other machinery.
• Perform first piece inspection and monitor quality, adjusting as needed.
• Sort and inspect manufactured parts.
• Complete necessary documentation.
• Move material with a forklift or non-motorized devices.
• Assist other operators as needed and suggest process improvements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by supervision.
