Qualifications

• Background in metal fabrication, with specific proficiency in working with aluminum.
• Hands-on experience utilizing various shop tools and fabrication equipment.
• Proven ability to analyze and execute work based on technical blueprints and drawings.
• Prior exposure to welding techniques is a strong asset.
• Familiarity with operating punch press machinery.
• Solid mechanical intuition and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Ability to thrive in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Proactive mindset focused on skill acquisition and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Measure and construct structures such as brackets, baseplates, and copper bus parts.
• Drilling, tapping, cutting, and punching to support production.
• Operate shop machinery with focus on safety and efficiency.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to guide work.
• Follow manufacturing procedures and work orders for consistency.
• Support welding team to streamline fabrication workflows.
• Maintain high quality standards for finished goods.
• Uphold internal quality policies and safety protocols.
• Assist in meeting delivery timelines and production goals.
• Maintain a tidy, safe workspace and engage in training.
