Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Fabrication Associate to join our industrial supply operations. The role focuses on piping material handling, cutting, threading, and assembly, with emphasis on safety and quality.

The position features a daytime shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with overtime and weekend shifts possible. Applicants should have a High School diploma and 6–8 months of related experience, and be comfortable operating forklifts and fabricating machinery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6–8 months of relevant industrial or fabrication experience.
• Proficiency with band saws, pipe threaders, automated welders, plasma cutters, and roll groove machines.
• Able to read a tape measure with precision.
• Able to use gauges to verify product quality.
• Minimum 3–6 months operating a forklift.
• Fundamental computer literacy is expected.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy pipe materials.

Responsibilities

• Transport and arrange piping materials across the shop floor and yard.
• Prepare and assemble specific pipe orders for clients.
• Utilize forklifts and various fabrication machinery.
• Cut, measure, bevel, and thread piping components.
• Ensure product standards by performing inspections with gauges and tape measures.
• Help maintain a safe and efficient production and shipping workflow.
• Keep the workspace tidy and orderly to support operational flow.
• Collaborate with teammates to help the department achieve production targets.
