Job summary

IPEX Group in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Fabrication Technician to receive, inspect, and prepare materials for fabrication operations. You will fabricate fittings and assemble parts to customer specs, inspect quality, and package finished products.

This role emphasizes Lean Manufacturing and 5S, teamwork, and safety. Work hours are Mon-Fri 5am-1pm in summer; requires a HS diploma and forklift certification willingness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability and willingness to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate fittings and components to customer specifications.
• Retrieve components from stock to support fabrication and assembly.
• Set up and prepare equipment per job requirements.
• Perform a minimum of five fabrication operations.
• Inspect parts for quality and conformance.
• Prepare finished parts for shipment and label accurately.
