Job summary

ProMach in Minnesota seeks skilled machinists to operate saws, laser/waterjet, and drill presses, with ability to read blueprints and perform welding and machining tasks. Qualifications

• Capable of saw operation, deburring, drilling and tapping holes, and drill press operation.
• Working knowledge of laser and waterjet.
• Forklift and crane certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate saws and perform sheet metal fabrication.
• Calculate bend allowances for cut size and hole location.
• Operate laser or water jet equipment.
• Operate press brake with minimal supervision.
• Weld and machine parts as needed.
• Assemble parts and perform machine maintenance.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Produce parts meeting BEC standards in a timely manner.
• Select proper tooling for the job.
• Maintain quality standards and perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Capable of the following processes:
• Saw operation.
• Sheet metal fabrication to include calculating bend allowances for cut size and hole location.
• Working knowledge of laser or water jet.
• Press brake operation with minimal supervision.
• Welding.
• Machining of parts.
• Assembly processes.
• Machine maintenance.
• Capable of reading and interpreting blue prints.
• Produce parts to meet BEC standards in an acceptable amount of time.
• Knows proper tooling for the job.
• Quality orientated.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
