Job summary

Marvel Refrigeration in Greenville, MI is hiring a Fabrication & Stamping Engineer to design, develop, implement, and continuously improve metal fabrication and stamping processes, with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

You will work with production, quality, maintenance, tooling, and project teams to optimize tooling and dies, oversee presses and fabrication equipment, and lead Lean initiatives that reduce waste and downtime while improving first‑pass yield.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering.
• 3-7 years in metal stamping and fabrication, high-volume environment preferred.
• Experience with progressive and transfer die operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain metal stamping processes for various dies.
• Analyze press utilization, cycle times, and throughput.
• Troubleshoot stamping quality issues and establish process parameters.
• Coordinate die tryouts and production launches for new products.
• Support tooling design, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing projects and CAPA initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and standards.
