Job summary

Harmon, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Associate to fabricate and assemble window framing materials from blueprints and drawings. You’ll work with metal and glass components, including insulated units, using manual, power tools, and CNC equipment.

You will load/unload materials, inspect completed frames, and participate in inventory and safety practices while meeting daily productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• 1–2 years of manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Curtain wall or architectural glass industry experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to meet production schedules and manage time.
• Capable of teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Cut, fabricate, and assemble window framing materials per work orders.
• Work with metal and glass components, including insulated glass units.
• Use manual and power hand tools for fabrication and assembly.
• Load and unload materials using hand methods, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
• Inspect and package completed frames and products for shipment.
• Stage products and assist with inventory management.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily productivity goals.
• Operate CNC equipment translating fabrication instructions into computer commands.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area using 5S practices.
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a positive team environment.
