Job summary

FASTSIGNS Parker/Castle Rock is hiring a full-time Fabrication Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on manufacturing signage using vinyl and metal substrates, operating CNC routers and other tools, and ensuring quality.

You will read Work Orders, prepare substrates, and complete builds with attention to detail. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years sign fabrication experience, a high school diploma, and physical ability to stand long hours and lift heavy materials.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in sign fabrication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods (6 hours or more).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and apply vinyl letters and graphics.
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.
• Ability to use light power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Understand measurements and manufacturing processes.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as CNC Router, Grinders, Welders, Shear.
• Follow a layout to apply graphics on substrates.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application.
• Fabrication of metal and other rigid substrates to complete sign builds.
• Perform quality assurance measures by reading Work Orders and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.
• Maintain a safe work environment while using tools.
• Finish operations such as pre-packaging after paint cures and prepare for installation.
• Report inventory levels and stock to the center/production manager.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.

FASTSIGNS #170901 is hiring for a full-time Fabrication Specialist to join our team!

A Successful FASTSIGNS Fabrication Specialist Will Understand

Understanding measurements and manufacturing processes.

Working with rigid materials to create custom signage.

Cutting, Routing, Paint Prep, Sanding, Metal Work, Welding, Paint Mixing.

Operate and maintain equipment such as C.N.C Router, Grinders, Welders, Shear, etc.

Follow a layout to place dimensional or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium

Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include sanding, cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc.

Fabrication of metal and other rigid substrates to complete sign builds. (Aluminum, Steel).

Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards.

Maintaining a safe work environment when working with tools, drills, and cutters.

Perform finishing operations such as pre-package after paint has cured and prepare for installation.

Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.

Clean and maintain storage areas

Ideal Qualifications For FASTSIGNS Fabrication Specialist

• 1-2 years of experience in sign fabrication preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (6 hours or more)
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
• Ability to use light power equipment

Compensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
