Danos, LLC in Houma, LA is seeking a Fabrication Shop Helper for our PES Operations Facility. The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities include coordination with QC on data books, operating an overhead crane, assisting welders and fitters, assembling pipe spools, performing inspections, and ensuring proper PPE usage and safety procedures are followed. Prior fabrication experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fabrication experience
• Knowledge of crane hand signals
• Selects correct rigging per weight & balance
• Experience using safe work habits

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with QC on scanning and data books
• Operate overhead crane
• Take safe position during lifting and be aware of others
• Assemble pipe spools by bolting flange connections
• Assist welders and fitters with pipe assembly and use hand tools
• Stencil and tag components
• Perform daily visual inspections and minor maintenance
• Lubricate machinery and equipment
• Splice and repair cables/ropes
• Participate in daily JSEA planning discussions
• Select and use proper PPE
• Conduct safety observations
• Adhere to Stop Work Authority
