Qualifications

• Ability to work in and maintain a safe work environment.
• Entry level knowledge of all equipment and tools necessary to perform the duties required.
• Ability to learn how to operate material handling equipment to move and align materials.
• Must be able to learn Laitram Machinery Quality Standards.
• Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift and move 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping/clean up in assigned area.
• Operate shop equipment as necessary.
• Assist fabricators in performance of their duties.
• Gather materials.
• Move material to next station.
• Assist as need with cleaning and applying chemical treatments to welds.
• Assist other departments as needed through cross‑training and providing coverage during busy times
