Job summary

Danos in Houma, LA is seeking a Fabrication Shop Helper for the PES Operations Facility. You will coordinate with QC, operate an overhead crane, and assist welders with pipe assembly and fittings using hand tools.

The role requires 2+ years of fabrication experience, knowledge of crane signals, and safe work habits. Daily inspections, PPE usage, and active participation in JSEA planning are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fabrication experience required.
• Knowledge of crane hand signals required.
• Ability to select rigging based on weight and balance loads.
• Experience using safe work habits and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with QC on scanning and data books.
• Operate overhead crane.
• Assist welders and fitters with pipe assembly and hand tools.
• Complete daily inspections and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Splice and repair cables and ropes.
• Participate in daily JSEA planning discussions.
