Crown Technical Systems, a Flex Company, is seeking a Shop Helper in Dallas, TX to support the Fabrication Department on 1st shift. You will prep, grind, sand, and clean sheet metal and steel, and assist machine operators and welders to complete fabrication tasks on the production floor.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and experience in manufacturing or fabrication, with focus on safety and equipment handling.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or related field.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management.

Responsabilidades

• Cut material in preparation for fabrication or processing
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment
• Assist machine operators (press brake, punch press, and laser) with loading and unloading items from the machines
• Assist welders with structural welds by holding materials in place
• Transfer raw materials, finished products, tools, or equipment between work areas on the production floor using powered equipment (ex. Forklifts)
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Complete other related duties as assigned
