Job summary

Kloeckner Metals - Americas is seeking a Fabrication Sales Assistant to support the Fabrication Account Manager with administrative tasks for specific customer accounts. The role involves order processing, data entry, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

The position requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to accuracy in shipping logs, pricing, and inventory movements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external customers to drive the company vision
• Process data entry related to shipping logs, PO’s, pricing, and other information
• Enter Sales Orders/Confirmations based on customer POs
• Assist with entering orders and tracking raw material inventory and transfers
• Input production for fabricated components for accounts as directed
• Update daily reports and account management tools
• Assist Fabrication Account Managers with various duties as required
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary

The Fabrication Sales Assistant supports the Fabrication Account Manager with various administrative duties related to specific customer accounts.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with internal and external customers to successfully drive the vision and mission of Kloeckner Metals
• Processes data entry related to shipping logs, PO’s, pricing, and other information
• Complete Sales Order/Confirmation entries based on customer PO’s
• Assist with entering orders and tracking raw material inventory and transfers from KMC facilities to OOP locations
• Input OOP production of fabricated components for accounts as directed
• Update daily reports and account management tools
• Assist Fabrication Account Managers with various duties as required
• Other duties as assigned

• Intermediate proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, inventory and order-processing systems, and email. Epicor experience a plus
