Qualifications

Job Summary

The Fabrication Account Manager serves as the primary contact for assigned accounts and manages Outside Processing (OOP) from project award through completion. Responsibilities include customer relationships, order management, forecasting, scheduling, inventory and supply chain coordination, quality, and customer service. The FAM manages multiple projects while ensuring schedules, quality standards, and company policies are met, workscollaboratively with internal and external customers to successfully drive the vision and mission of Kloeckner Metals. Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for on-time material delivery from supplier to customer including analyzing customer forecasts and managing supplier schedules

Summary of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
  • Process timely and accurate Purchase Orders in accordance with customer needs
  • Monitor the integrity of Bill of Material (BOM) and manage inventory accuracy
  • Maintain pricing verification and updates
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
  • Develop and maintain good working knowledge of end user applications of assigned accounts
  • Manage aged inventory
  • Prepare monthly reports on account status
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Advise management of challenging customer requests and elevate issues as needed
  • Ensure attainment of efficient and economical performance in relation to profit and year-end goals
  • Other related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field and/or 5–7 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interpret business reports and data
  • Proficient in business math, statistics, algebra, and basic geometry
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret written, verbal, diagram, and schedule instructions
  • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, inventory and order-processing systems, email, and internet applications. Epicor experience a plus
