Job summary

Rogers Electric in the United States seeks a Safety Manager - Prefabrication to lead safety programs across multiple fabrication facilities. You will ensure OSHA General Industry compliance, perform audits and risk assessments, and develop fabrication-specific safety procedures and training.

The role requires 5+ years in safety within fabrication or industrial environments, strong leadership, and the ability to travel extensively between states while coordinating with Operations to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field or equivalent safety certifications and experience.
• At least 5+ years of progressive safety experience in fabrication, manufacturing, industrial, construction, or similar environments with multiple facilities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards and OSHA 30 preferred.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, and incident investigations with corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs and initiatives across assigned fabrication facilities.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA General Industry standards and applicable state/local requirements.
• Conduct facility inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Identify high-risk activities and implement practical controls to eliminate or reduce exposure.
• Develop and maintain fabrication-specific safety procedures, JHAs/JSAs, SOPs, and safe work practices.
• Provide safety guidance and coaching to Shop Managers, supervisors, and employees.
• Develop, deliver, and coordinate required safety training, including task-specific and new-hire training.
• Support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support regulatory inspections and maintain required safety documentation.
• Evaluate new equipment, processes, layouts, and work activities for safety risks.
• Establish consistent safety expectations across multiple locations.
• Partner with Operations to improve safety performance while maintaining productivity.
