Job summary

Rogers is seeking a Safety Manager - Prefabrication to join our team. This field-based role requires leading safety programs across multiple fabrication facilities, ensuring OSHA General Industry compliance and driving safe work practices.

You will conduct inspections, trainings, and incident investigations while partnering with Operations to improve safety and productivity. Travel across states is expected, with a supportive, team-oriented culture at Rogers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent safety qualifications.
• 5+ years of progressive safety experience in fabrication/manufacturing/construction.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards.
• Experience with inspections, audits, and incident investigations & corrective actions.
• Willingness to travel extensively between multiple states.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety programs across assigned fabrication facilities.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA General Industry standards.
• Conduct facility inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Identify high-risk activities and implement practical controls.
• Develop fabrication-specific safety procedures, JHAs/JSAs, SOPs, and safe work practices.
• Provide safety guidance and coaching to Shop Managers, supervisors, and employees.
• Deliver required safety training, including task-specific and new-hire training.
• Support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Support regulatory inspections and maintain safety documentation.
• Evaluate new equipment, processes, layouts, and activities for safety risks.
• Establish consistent safety expectations across locations.
• Partner with Operations to improve safety performance while maintaining productivity.
