Job summary

McKenney's, Inc. seeks a Shop Quality Foreman to lead the shop team in ensuring project planning, fabrication, and execution meet contract requirements and company standards.

You will inspect fabricated work and stop work if noncompliant, while guiding the team to maintain a strong quality culture across all stages. You will review drawings, submittals, and IOMs, coordinate with the Shop Project Manager, document deficiencies, perform dimensional verification, and lead quality walks to drive

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the mechanical contracting field.
• Must have experience as a minimum Crew leader/Foreman.
• Self-starter with strong teamwork and independent work ability.
• Commitment to accuracy, safety, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Review contract requirements, drawings, and submittals for compliance.
• Visually inspect welds to ensure code requirements are met.
• Walk the shop, document quality deficiencies, and communicate trends.
• Lead quality shop walks with project teams and coordinate with the Shop Project Manager.
• Document corrections, track rework, and participate in lessons learned.
