Job summary

McKenney’s in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Shop Quality Foreman to lead quality assurance across planning, fabrication, and execution. You will ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications, review submittals, IOMs, and weld quality, and halt work when needed to protect the project.

You will drive a culture of quality, train crews on McKenney’s Best Practices, document deficiencies, and coordinate with the Shop Project Manager to address punch items and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the mechanical contracting field.
• Must have experience as a minimum Crew leader/Foreman.

Responsibilities

• Review contract requirements and drawings to ensure quality compliance.
• Lead quality inspections and trainings for shop staff.
• Inspect welds and document any deficiencies to meet code requirements.
• Document trends with operations to allow department training and education.
• Ensure awareness of McKenney’s Quality Absolutes and Best Practices.
• Communicate quality deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions with Project teams.
