Job summary

PPS is seeking an experienced Fabrication Project Manager in Phoenix to oversee fabrication projects from award through closeout. You will coordinate between customers, engineering, procurement, production control, quality, and shop operations to ensure on-time delivery and budget compliance.

The role emphasizes planning, drawing and material readiness, and proactive risk management to keep fabrication on schedule and within labor hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Construction Management, Engineering or related.
• Proven success managing large, complex construction projects.
• Advanced knowledge of contracts, subcontract admin, scheduling, cost management and change-order processes.
• Strong client relationship management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency with Procore, P6 or MS Project and financial tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage fabrication projects from award through completion and closeout.
• Review contracts, PO's, estimates, drawings, specs and schedules.
• Lead turnover meetings with estimating, production control, quality, procurement and shop operations.
• Establish milestones and fabrication completion dates.
• Maintain schedules and communicate changes or risks to delivery.
• Coordinate customer priorities with shop capacity and production schedules.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and status updates.
• Identify risks early and develop recovery plans.
