Job summary

Legence is seeking a Materials Coordinator-Pipe Fabrication in Phoenix to manage material receipt, staging, tracking, and distribution for pipe fabrication projects. You will ensure accurate inventory records and coordinate deliveries to support efficient project execution.

The role requires at least two years in materials handling within construction, knowledge of pipe materials and fabrication processes, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in materials handling, warehouse operations, tools and equipment management, or a related field within construction.
• Knowledge of pipe materials and fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of construction tools and equipment used in the mechanical construction industry.
• Knowledge of pipe material vendors and their products.
• Knowledge of inventory control, receiving, and material tracking practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Arizona DOT Medical Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, stage, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment to support pipe fabrication.
• Maintain accurate records of material receipts, deliveries, transfers, and inventory levels.
• Process and update material requisitions, packing slips, purchase orders, backorders, and related documentation within company systems.
• Coordinate material movement between vendors, fabrication facilities and project sites.
• Verify material quantities and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and help ensure inventory accuracy.
• Pick up and deliver materials, tools, and equipment as needed to support project requirements.
• Maintain compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
