Job summary

Central States Industrial (CSI) is seeking a Project Manager - Components to lead fabrication designs and estimates, coordinate with customers and suppliers, and guide projects from concept through manufacturing.

The role requires strong design and estimating skills, knowledge of manufacturing processes, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with internal teams. The position offers an office-based role with potential travel and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical emphasis required.
• Design/estimation experience preferred.
• Experience designing and estimating custom manufactured components preferred.
• Intermediate Outlook and Excel; proficient Word.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost-effective fabrication designs using appropriate materials and standards.
• Consult with customers, vendors, and coworkers to understand requirements and solutions.
• Prepare material and labor cost estimates, analyses, and proposals with margins and lead times.
• Provide manufacturing technical support, including BOMs and steps for complex fabrications.
• Mentor design/estimating team members and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Develop and improve product specifications, processes, testing, and quality standards.
• Support product development and market growth by applying industry standards and building relationships.
