Job description

24 Seven is partnering with a well-known experiential marketing agency to help them find a Fabrication Project Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, CA for this hybrid position. This is a 3-month contract with big potential for extension or full-time salary conversion working 30 hours/week to start. While there is no physical office to work out of, this person needs to reside in the Los Angeles area to occasionally meet vendors as well as do site visits.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Project Management experience within fabrication, scenic production, or custom builds for experiential marketing or live events. They excel in materials, fabrication techniques, and production processes while managing teams, vendors, and partners in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Oversee fabrication from concept to completion, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, high-quality delivery.
  • Team Coordination: Lead collaboration between fabricators, designers, and production teams to execute creative concepts.
  • Material & Vendor Sourcing: Select optimal materials and vendors, balancing cost efficiency with design integrity.
  • Technical Oversight: Review drawings, resolve construction issues, and ensure structural feasibility.
  • On-Site Execution: Supervise installation and breakdown, ensuring smooth, real-time problem-solving.
  • Budget & Timeline Management: Manage budgets and schedules to maximize efficiency.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards, permits, and industry regulations.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in fabrication, scenic production, or custom builds within experiential marketing, live events, or a similar field.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, fabrication techniques, and production processes, including woodworking, metalworking, CNC routing, and finishing.
  • Experience managing teams, vendors, and external partners in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interpret and refine technical drawings and CAD files.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and best practices for event and production safety.
