Job summary

Faremouth & Company is seeking a Fabrication Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates for custom fabrication projects, including skid packages and piping systems. You will work with customers, engineering, operations, and purchasing to develop competitive proposals while safeguarding profitability.

You will review RFQs, drawings, and specs; develop BOMs and material take-offs; obtain vendor pricing; and interpret P&IDs to estimate materials and hours.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial estimating.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of welding, piping, structural fabrication, and assembly processes preferred.
• Strong math, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, or estimating software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
