Job summary

WW Industries is seeking a Project Coordinator / Junior Estimator in Houston to support fabrication projects through coordination, estimating, and documentation management. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Associate degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Project Management or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in estimating, project coordination, fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or industrial services.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings and project specifications.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs, drawings, specifications to determine scope.
• Interpret fabrication and structural drawings for estimates.
• Prepare material quantity take-offs and estimating worksheets.
• Develop preliminary and final estimates using material, labor, equipment, subcontractor costs, and data.
• Coordinate with Purchasing for material and vendor pricing.
• Prepare customer quotations, bid packages, schedules, and documentation.
• Maintain records of bids, opportunities, and outcomes.
• Support improving estimating processes and databases.
• Assist Project Managers with planning and execution.
• Track schedules, milestones, deliverables, and requirements.
• Coordinate communication among customers, vendors, engineering, procurement, and production.
• Monitor status and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain project files and correspondence.
• Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, action logs, and progress updates.
• Track material deliveries and procurement activities.
• Ensure documentation is complete and filed.
• Support change orders and budget tracking.
• Identify risks and communicate concerns to management.
