Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a Production Planner to support the Generator Manufacturing Division. You will use ERP/MRP to interpret demand, manage materials, and schedule production to meet quality and delivery targets.

The role involves coordinating with multiple teams for on-time manufacturing and distribution. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of production planning experience in a continuous flow environment, strong analytical skills, and solid proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in supply chain management, business management or related field preferred.
• CPIM accreditation or related certification advantageous.
• 1–3 years' proven experience as a production planner in a continuous flow operation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Sound knowledge of MRP and related software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Order materials and track procurement timelines.
• Monitor scheduling timelines and production delays.
• Manage production staffing and workload as needed.
• Assess material and equipment availability.
• Schedule production and coordinate with departments.
• Monitor the production process for issues and root causes.
• Plan and organize production workflow for one or more products.
• Review and prioritize operations to maximize performance and minimize delays.
• Organize distribution of goods and materials to meet customer demand.
