Job summary

Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a Production Planner to support the Fabrication division in our Platte City, MO facility. The planner will manage ERP/MRP-driven production schedules, coordinate materials, and ensure timely, cost-effective manufacturing with quality adherence.

Key responsibilities include ordering materials, monitoring timelines, and analyzing delays while collaborating with the production team to maximize efficiency and smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with preferred higher education in supply chain management or related field.
• Experience in production planning or scheduling in a continuous flow operation is required (1–3 years).
• Proficiency with ERP systems, MRP concepts, and related software is expected.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Order materials and monitor scheduling timelines.
• Manage production scheduling for one or more products.
• Analyze production delays and adjust plans to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with material, equipment availability and personnel.
• Review operations and prioritize for maximum efficiency.
